ZCG Scalar

ZCGScalarState-of the-art manufacturing

Established in East Gippsland, in 1970, in the backyard of local man Gregor Cox, ZCG Scalar has built an international reputation for providing state-of-the-art antennas across the radio spectrum.

Now owned and operated by Garry and Sally-ann Kelly, the business employs more than 30 people at its base in Lindenow and competes across the industry, having carved a sizeable niche in the broadcast antenna market, the 4x4 CB market, and the leisure and commercial fishing markets. ZCG Scalar also supplies antennas, cable and connectors to the mining industry, armed forces and government agencies, such as police, ambulance and fire brigades.

“We moved from Queensland 10 years ago because we wanted the quality of life that East Gippsland can offer, but living in the region also suits our business needs,” Sally-ann said. “Rural areas tend to have less radio frequency pollution, such as electrical and other interference, which allows us to produce antennas and other devices without the challenges we would face in urban areas.”
